Redemption, in the story of the Bible, is God buying back man, a slave of sin, in order that man might become His righteous people.

Redemption took place at the cross when Jesus died for man. God was pleased to provide His holy Son to take the punishment for us. Everyone who looks to Jesus and confesses his sins can be sure that he will receive forgiveness and that he will be cleansed from every evil in him.

Redemption means that man can now come into the presence of God, fully sheltered from His wrath and with full hearts of worship and love!
